For years, we've been waiting and dreaming of a toy that could move like the characters in a cartoon. That wait is officially over and that dream is now a reality. It's a wonderful time to be a kid or a kid at heart! Dance Star Mickey is the first toy that is able to leap out of your television screen and out onto the Dance Floor with incredible realism. Unbelievably, with Dance Star Mickey, Fisher-Price has sprinkled its magical dust and brought Mickey Mouse to life like never before! Dance Star Mickey is the latest addition to Fisher-Price's line of life-like plush interactive toys. Watch Mickey walk, talk, and dance right before your very eyes. It simply has to be seen first-hand to be believed. It's mind-blowingly mesmerizing and entertaining! Mickey moves, speaks, and dances with amazing grace and unprecedented realism! Dance Star Mickey simply moonwalks all over previous dancing toys. No other toy this year comes even remotely close to the experience that Dance Star Mickey delivers. I have never been more estatic about a toy. When we first got Dance Star Mickey, nothing could prepare me for it. I mean, like most of you, I have watched every video and read everything on Dance Star Mickey to find out if it is worth the impressive price tag. Honestly, it didn't look that impressive. It's obvious most people writing about it haven't seen it in person. Pictures simply don't do it justice. In pictures, Dance Star Mickey looks like he ate too much of cheese. However, in person, the toy doesn't look fat. I do wish the toy had Mickey's classic clothes, but the toy is incredibly cute.

Let me just say if you or your child loves Mickey, you simply have to own this toy. It's that simple. The retail price is $69.99. We paid $89.99 dollars for ours and price scalpers are jacking up the price of this HOT toy because there is huge demand and low supply. I can't believe I'm telling my readers to splurge on this toy. But, honestly, it's worth every penny. I truly believe that Dance Star Mickey is going to be impossible to find this Christmas. Seriously, the range of motion is truly remarkable. If you've owned previous Mickey toys like the Hot Dog Dancer, Dance Star Mickey makes that look like a joke.

I could go on and on about the way the mouth moves when Mickey speaks. The way he jiggles his hands when he is excited. But I'll stop right there. I don't want to spoil the experience for you. I never felt this level of excitement since I was a kid. For heaven sakes he does the Moonwalk. If this toy doesn't make you happy, nothing will.

Don't tell them I told you, but when my kids go to sleep this mama still has some grooves left in her step. It's impossible not to put on your high heel dance shoes and start dancing. This mouse has moves that would make anybody go crazy. Minnie Mouse you're so lucky. M-I-C-K-E-Y Mouse.

When younger kids first witness Mickey, the way they act around it is impossible to describe. At first my younger one was afraid of the toy. Then as she got more familiar with it she wouldn't put it down. She treats the toy like it's alive. To see her carrying him around everywhere she goes is priceless. Mickey acts with such realism that it's actually quite scary. Mickey will stop his routine if you interrupt his routine and hold him upside-down or at a 90-degree angle. I kid you not -- when my kid picked Mickey up he said, "I was not expecting that!" Then when he was put back down Mickey said, "That's better."

After experiencing the Magic of Mickey for over thirty years, who knew that Mickey had such ‘Groovalicious’ dance moves? Your child will need this toy to experience Mickey's Magical Dance Grooves. To make things even more interesting and increase the variety, each song features difference dance maneuvers. There are six different songs in all – meaning Mickey does six different dances. How To Play
To begin playing with Mickey, you can press either the left hand or left foot. Depending on where you press Mickey he is either in Dance Mode or Game Mode.

Dance Mode
Press Mickey's foot to cycle through the six various dances. After Mickey finishes one dance number, pushing the foot again will trigger the next song. Here are the different songs.

6. "M" TO THE "I"

Game Mode
Pressing Mickey's hand activates Game Mode. There are two fun interactive games.

1. Mickey Says
Mickey Says invites children to play a game of Simon Says. Remember, don't move unless "Mickey Says" to.

2. Freeze Dance
Freestyle dance to the beat and when Mickey says, "Freeze," you must freeze in place.

Mickey is powered by six AA batteries, which are conveniently included in the package. If you stop playing with Mickey for more than 20 seconds, he conveniently shuts off to preserve the battery.

Okay, I'm trying real hard to come up with a negative aspect to this toy. The only thing I can think of is that Dance Star Mickey works best on a hard surface. The toy has wheels underneath it to allow it to maneuver across the floor. Although it works to a certain extent on carpet, the toy works best on hard surfaces. Also, Mickey will bump into things in the way or get stuck on them. You will have to reposition the toy if it gets off track. But this is understandable, Mickey is not a Roomba with artificial intelligence, he is a children's toy. Besides this is just nitpicking. That said, because the toy uses batteries they will need to be replaced. You'll know when it's time to replace the batteries when Mickey's motion starts slowing down and/or all of a sudden he stops in the middle of a dance number.

Dance Star Mickey will undoubtedly provide your kids with hours of enjoyment and entertainment. He’ll simply dance into kids’ hearts and they will be movin’ and groovin’ along with Mickey. Mickey will become your kid's best companion. Kids will not only learn dance moves and have a blast, but also Mickey will spark their imaginations. Mickey’s movements are so life-like and realistic that kid's will think he's real. This is a brilliant rendition of Mickey not to mention Mickey is so cute, cuddly, and adorable. This toy will be a BEST-SELLER this Christmas, so pick one up for your kids today before it's sold out!

A Must-Own Toy For The Holiday Season

Dance Star Mickey is simply the must-own toy for the holiday season. If you have the money or if you LOVE Mickey Mouse, you will not find a better toy. It's so worth it. The motion is absolutely breathtaking. There are six different dances including a cool Moonwalk and 2 interactive games called Freeze and Mickey Says. My favorite part: When Mickey talks and sings his mouth opens and closes with each word. It's completely in sync. I'm not afraid to admit it -- but Mickey has COOLER moves than me. The folks at Fisher-Price have outdone themselves.
